After developing materials for the 02-03 season that referenced Russian constuctivism with paper color and printmaing marks (we already had the black/red thing going on ), the client had the inevitable question: what’s next? I decided to enlist the help of Robb Ogle, and figure ut what else was “modern”. I’m not making any intellectual claims for this investigation. It was merely an attempt to identify visual forms that connoted modernism.
