Boston Modern Orchestra Project: 2003–2004

See the sketches for this season here. What evolved from the sketching, surprisingly, was a series of abstract but still figurative illustrations based on a central image of each concert: islands for Ulysses, cityscape for Uptown, newspaper layout for Nixon in China, and so on. The secondary typeface used this season was Font Bureau’s clarendon-ate, Belizio by David Berlow.
