"In Their Cups"

One of only two books I've designed for Harvard Common Press. I had a vision of a trendily offbeat volume like the ones near the checkout at Urban Outfitters. But this vision was not shared by the publisher, so the design kinda got away from me. Mike Hoy took the cover photo, using a transfer onto the cocktail napkin that took forever. Copyright page is a tribute to (okay, a steal from) Vivian Ghazarian. They made me do it.
